Line contains, describes, and symbolizes. Line is a primary element in drawing but winds its way through all media. This exhibition invites artists to delve into how we conceive of line culturally, symbolically, psychologically, and aesthetically. It explores the concept of a narrow distinction, a division, or difference whether conceptual or physical. Stay with traditional drawing approaches or expand our horizons. Enlarge our concept of drawing by taking a walk with line as visual exploration, explode our ideas of drawing by examining line as 3-dimensional, or enable us to experience line over time.
