Jackie’s Solo Exhibition explores the notion of “Life Force” as a mystery of revelation for each individual as they journey through life. Life Force is the energy that saturates the universe at all levels. All energies – vibrational, electrical, heat, light, gravity, magnetism, etc. are all elements of Life Force. Western scientific methods have ways of measuring these energies but don’t necessarily explain or understand their full impact on the body, mind, and soul. In the esoteric, spiritual realm, prana, pranava, qi, and the concept of breath are also referred to as Life Force, operating within the body, mind, and soul and are used by many for healing. But, for traditional Western science, these forces are hard to measure and it is difficult to attribute their impact in a way that science and allopathic medicine can explain. But, clearly, Life Force is constantly at work in both realms and defines not only the human experience but a universal one.
