Connection is a theme that resides in all aspects of my studio practice and is what inspires me to continue making. I have studied mindfulness and sources of creativity as reasons for exploring my true nature and understanding what I’m drawn to creating. The images presented are from a meditation practice focusing on breathing. Each one reflects the movements of the body, the movements of the eye, and is an expression of the meditation experience. This is a different kind of knowing that comes from within without judgment. It is a pure expression that has taken me from the connections to my external world to the internal world.
